I'm Omar, and I started Meoggy in London after losing a long, itchy battle with my own cat's fur. I used to be allergic to pet hair — badly enough that getting a cat at all meant tracking down a hypoallergenic breed just to make it work. Turns out low-shedding doesn't mean no-shedding, and I was still finding fur on the sofa, the car seat, the black jumper I swore I wouldn't wear round the cat.

A grooming parlour costs £30–50 a visit and needs an appointment. So I went looking for the tools professional groomers actually use, cut out the retail middlemen who mark them up, and brought them straight to British doorsteps at a price that isn't insulting. Meoggy isn't just a shop to me — it's the fur-versus-human-versus-home fight I was already having, just with better tools.
